Jacquelin Priestley

Jacquelin has been a daily student of Scripture for four decades, discovering a continuous theme in the character of God, who consistently presents Himself as a loving Heavenly Father…. He is a HEALER and offers healing to all.  There is no man, woman, or child excluded from His personal invitation to have relationship with Him. His arms are open wide to each of us. He LOVES us!

He provides HEALING for the human spirit and soul through the cleansing, forgiving, saving love and grace He offers us in the completed work of Christ Jesus at the cross.

In answer to Moses’ question “Who shall I say You are? What is Your name?” God told him “I AM that I AM. Tell Pharaoh ‘I AM’ has sent you.” His Name reveals He is the constant, unchanging, ever-living, ever-present God. He is not “I was” or “I used to be” or “I passed away”. He is the constant I AM, dwelling in every moment of our NOW!

Healing for our bodies was proven as His will centuries prior to Christ coming and fulfilling the prophesies. To the children of Israel, He revealed Himself as Jehovah-Rapha, literally meaning “God Who Heals”. In Exodus 15:26 He explained “I AM the Lord your God Who heals you.” That is practical, provisional, and personal.

Then in Psalm 107:20 the theme continues: “He sent His WORD and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”  Isaiah 53:3,4,5 seals His healing covenant forever, ratified IN Christ: “By His stripes ye were healed.”, prophetically establishing 700 years before Christ’s birth that He would take and bear our sickness,  disease, and need for physical healing for our bodies in His own flesh in that scourging He endured for us.

Healing for the mind and mental peace was in the crown of thorns. He wants us free from all that might crush or weigh heavy on our minds... The GREAT EXCHANGE was to meet our every need from head to toe  -- He gave His all from head to toe, providing for us utterly. He appealed to Israel to forsake their sins and return to Him, saying “Return to Me and I will HEAL YOUR BROKEN THINKING.” He didn’t want them to bear the pains of the consequences of their sins. Romans 12:2 says we can be “transformed by the renewing of your mind…..”, a fruit produced by time spent in His Word.

Healing for a broken heart is provided for us directly in Isaiah 61. God provides healing for every part of us, spirit, soul, and body. From a migraine to a broken heart, worry, sleeplessness, cancer…. He is the Healer for every possible need – it is all available IN Christ, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever – Hebrews 13:8. God punctuates this healing theme of His great heart in 2 Corinthians 1:20 “For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their 'Yes!' and 'Amen' from God IN Christ Jesus.”
